Enabling wireless transfer of knowledge and energy
-- New website layout --
Wireless power transfer (DEO: Draadloze Energie Overdracht) improves usability by eliminating the need for physical connectors. It can increase durability and robustness, support automation, and enhance safety in hazardous industrial environments. These advantages are driving continued growth in wireless charging applications.
However, adoption remains challenging for many small and medium-sized enterprises , which often lack the resources to implement this technology. This project addresses that gap by transferring knowledge to Flemish industry. In cooperation with innovative Flemish companies, it develops accessible, practice-oriented tools and expertise for the implementation of wireless energy transfer.A low-power demonstrator is developed to validate wireless power transfer concepts in practical, accessible applications.
A high-power demonstrator is built to investigate the technical challenges of wireless energy transfer under more demanding conditions.
A low-threshold knowledge base provides clear, practice-oriented guidance for companies implementing wireless power transfer.
These objectives are addressed in close cooperation with the advisory committee. The project also focuses on dissemination and interaction between companies, supporting the effective transfer and application of the results within the supervisory committee and the wider group of Flemish companies.
