Coupled coils with series resistance
Circuit
Consider two coils with inductances L1 and L2, coupled by mutual inducance M. The inductors have series resistance R1 and R2.

The impedance matrix of the circuit is given by:

with ω the angular frequency.
Admittance matrix
Y=1det(Z)[z22−z12−z21z11]=1R1R2−ω2(L1L2+M2)+jω(R1L2+R2L1)[R2+jωL2−jωM−jωMR1+jωL1]
with det(Z) the determinant of Z.
